How long have you been with Gaze Burvill?

I’ve been here nearly early 5 years now.

What is your role at Gaze Burvill?

I am Facilities and Maintenance Team Leader.  I also lead in specialised deliveries, such as outdoor kitchens, which involves installing the finished product at the site.

What is the best thing about working at Gaze Burvill?

The best thing about working here is the chance to work with such an exclusive product.  But, coming in a close second, would be the people that work here – there is a real sense of camaraderie.

What would you say is the hardest thing about your job?

I would have to say some of the outdoor kitchens that I have installed have been very physically and mentally challenging, as every kitchen is different and you don’t always know what to expect.

What is your most memorable moment since joining?

One of the most memorable moments working here would be helping set up the new building prior to the company moving to Lodge Farm.

What makes you proud to work here?

When we have a last minute push to finish something in the workshop.  Everyone really bands together to get the project finished on time.  In my 5 years (nearly) here I can’t think of a major deadline that we have missed.

What is your favourite piece of furniture?

My favourite would be the Broadwalk Oval Table dining set.

What are your inheritance tracks?

From my parents:  Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd

To my children:  I will hope to pass them the song Alive by Pearl Jam.
